About Us
Our History
Creative Innovation Centre (CIC) is a youth-led organization based in Ofua III within the Rhino Camp Refugee Settlement in Uganda. Established in 2020 by a collective of creative electronics enthusiasts passionate about digital literacy and technology, CIC’s main aim is to provide a collaborative platform for generating and sharing innovative ideas by engaging youths in peer-to-peer learning, and mentorship programs centered on education and practical vocational skills, helping them navigate their career paths more effectively in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related fields. Furthermore, CIC advocates for holistic and sustainable youth development by utilizing electronic waste to enhance technological understanding and promote environmental conservation.
